Driver flees from single-vehicle rollover

A driver fled the scene of a single-vehicle rollover crash Thursday night on Oil Heritage Road.

Lambton County OP, Lambton EMS, and Dawn-Euphemia firefighters responded at around 7:25 p.m to find a pickup truck on its side.

The west region canine and emergency response units tracked the driver to a residence, and he was arrested.

A 24-year-old Lakeshore man is charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada and failing to remain, pursuant to the Highway Traffic Act.

The accused will appear in court on June 15, 2020.
