Family Counselling Centre reaching out to seniors during pandemic

The Family Counselling Centre is reaching out to isolated seniors during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Agency volunteers are making sure seniors continue to receive daily check-in calls through the Tel-Check program, and callers to the Distress Line can reach out and talk about their worries and fears about the virus.

Seniors living alone or those who know someone who can benefit from a daily call, can contact Donna at 519-336-0120 ext. 251 to leave a message. Calls will be returned as soon as possible.

Seniors needing someone to talk to about the pandemic or other issues and concerns can call the Distress Line at 519-336-3000 to speak to a volunteer.
