WorkPlace Group to celebrate International Women's Day

Canada's Keynote Humourist will headline the WorkPlace Group's Women's Day Celebration in Sarnia.

Motivational speaker, author, comedian and stand-up coach Judy Croon will be the guest speaker at the second annual event Friday, March 6 at the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club.

Spokesperson Marlene Wood said other guest speakers include Bluewater Power President and CEO Janice McMichael Dennis and Lambton College President and CEO Judith Morris

"The event is meant to be relaxing and fun and a great opportunity for networking, celebrating the achievements of women, and how we all have a hand in promoting gender parity," said Wood. "Just a real celebration of the achievements over the 100 plus years for women's equality."

Wood says proceeds from the luncheon will support the Women's Interval Home and Sexual Assault Survivors Centre.

Tickets are available until Monday, March 2 through Revelree, a local digital ticketing service.
