Environment Canada is keeping a close eye on a Texas low expected to move towards the Great Lakes Thursday.
The national weather agency has issued a special weather statement for much of southern Ontario, including Sarnia-Lambton.
Snow is expected to arrive tonight and could become mixed with ice pellets before ending Thursday night. Environment Canada says there's also the risk of freezing rain.
Forecasters say there's still some uncertainty to the exact track of the low, but at this point, total snowfall amounts are expected to be between five and 10 centimetres.
Motorists are reminded to adjust your driving to the changing weather and road conditions.
