Pickup crashes into a fire hydrant near Sarnia YMCA. Sarnia police photo. January 28, 2020A single-vehicle crash caused significant damage on Finch Drive Tuesday morning.
City police said a southbound pickup truck spun out of control just after 8 a.m.
The truck jumped the curb, shattered a glass bus shelter and took out a fire hydrant in front of the YMCA Jerry McCaw Family Centre.
A 43-year-old woman was charged with careless driving.
No injuries were reported.
