If you have teenagers in the house and you're concerned about them vaping you may be interested in this.
Lambton Public Health has planned two evening information sessions to get a conversation started between teens and their parents or guardians.
Health promoter Lisa Clark said they'll be at Lambton Central Collegiate and Vocational School in Petrolia Monday and at the Point Edward Community Hall on Tuesday.
"We're going to have Evan Stevens from public health giving the 'Vape 10,'" said Clark. "Basically what's in a vape. A lot of people don't understand the ingredients in it and what would really make it harmful. Why it's in the news with all these lung transplants, hospitalizations, talking about how the vapes being marketed to youth and the health effects of course."
Clark said a teen who used to vape will share their experience and there will be a discussion about how to have an effective conversation with your teen on vaping.
Each information session starts with registration and a light supper at 5:30 p.m.
Presentations run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
