Sarnia's Centennial Park will be transformed this weekend.
Displays for the annual Celebration of Lights will be erected and volunteers are asked to meet at 9 a.m. Saturday to assist in the setup.
Board Chair Cathie Blake said she's looking forward to seeing some old favourites, including the new and improved Snoopy and the Red Baron.
"It's been in the park before but it got weathered over the years and needed a lot of fixing up," said Blake. "This is a display that Alexander Mckenzie School built in the first place, and now they've taken it back and restored it."
The Celebration of Lights Arch will go up Friday morning. Front Street between London Road and Exmouth Street will be closed from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. to allow for installation.
The displays will be lit up on November 23 at around 6 p.m. as part of a kick-off party which will include fireworks and a live band.
They will be on every evening throughout the holiday season until January 1, 2020.
