A detour to Sarnia's compost site that began in May is to end on Wednesday with the reopening of St. Andrew Street at Vidal Street.
The city said the compost site's permanent gate will reopen and the facility will be accessible from Vidal.
St. Andrew Street will be closed at the east end and no longer accessible from Scott Road.
The detour was needed during construction of a new sewer.
Compost site hours at 379 St. Andrew St. remain 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday until December 14.
