Petrolia Fall Fair underway

The fall fair season has kicked-off in Lambton County.

The Petrolia and Enniskillen Fall Fair began Friday and runs through Sunday at the Petrolia Fair Grounds and Greenwood Rec Centre.

Fair Board President Justen Richards said they have everything from home crafts and livestock shows, to live comedy and plenty of activities for the kids.

"We'll have our demolition derby and also our team truck demolition derby on Sunday, which is a first for us. Then on Saturday we have the farm olympics, pro wrestlers, tractor pull, and the parade," said Richards. "We also have lots of good food -- I know you can get a good perch dinner, and The Lions Hall has a food trailer. I'm always for the poutine, but I know my kids like the deep-fried Mars bars."

Richards said the 154-year-old fair usually brings in around 20,000 people annually.
