A child who fell into the St. Clair River near the Blue Water Bridge Saturday evening is fine according to reports.
At around 7 p.m. Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary, Point Edward fire and Sarnia Fire & Rescue, Point Edward OPP and Lambton EMS were dispatched after receiving calls about a child in the water.
The child was pulled from the river by a passing boater and brought to shore at Bridgeview Marina.
We were tasked today at 1857h for a person in the St Clair River under the Blue Water Bride. Other than being shook up the child is okay.
