A Sarnia man charged with second degree murder has received one-week remands now for 12 straight weeks.

He was remanded in custody until next Thursday July 18 for instruction following a meeting between Crown and defence counsel David Stoesser.

Theriault is charged in connection with a violent altercation between two men April 17 on Maxwell Street near St. Vincent Street.

Jesse Mowat-Caudle, 26, was found lying on the ground with critical injuries outside a residence.
