The Sarnia Police Service say Leia Cooper was located before 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police issued a missing person report around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Sarnia police would like to thank the public for its assistance in locating the young girl.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
