Award-winning Theatre Sarnia production of "Girls Like That."
(Photo courtesy of Imperial Theatre)Theatre Sarnia won a few awards at the Theatre Ontario Festival in Richmond Hill Sunday.
The community theatre group was awarded "Outstanding Coordinated Production" and received a "Special Adjudicator Award" for its production of Girls Like That.
The production also received an honourable mention for set design.
"Girls Like That" won a number of awards, including best production, at the Western Ontario Drama League Festival in March.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
