One of two women arrested in a drug bust May 8 now faces additional charges after drugs were allegedly found while she was in custody.
Sarnia police previously reported that 29 grams of methamphetamine was found and Lil-Star Nahmabin, 41, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Police say on May 9, a second woman initially charged with drug possession, was taken from Sarnia Jail to hospital where a package containing 25 grams of methamphetamine and 13 grams of purple fentanyl was allegedly retrieved from her.
The drugs have a total estimated street value of $9,000.
Crystal Dawn Haywood, 34, of Petrolia is now charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and remains in custody.
