Traffic stop leads to drug charges

Two women are facing drug charges after being pulled over by Sarnia police at around 1 a.m. Wednesday.

Police say 29.1 grams of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $3,100 was allegedly found in a search of one of the suspects at police headquarters.

Lil-Star Nahmabin, 41, of the Sarnia area, is charged with drug trafficking and three counts of failing to comply with recognizance.

A 34-year-old Petrolia woman is charged with drug possession.

The two were in custody awaiting bail hearings.
