As many as 40 employees have been hired as a new restaurant prepares to open in Sarnia.
Chuck's Roadhouse Bar and Grill is located at the former Smoke and Spice Southern Barbecue at 1399 Exmouth St.
Obsidian Group Senior Marketing Manager Corey Deneire said the grand opening of their Sarnia franchise is planned for this Friday, May 10 at 11 a.m.
Deneire said the Chuck's brand is growing quickly across Ontario and Sarnia was a perfect fit.
He said the local demographic of sports fans and young families aligns well with the menu and atmosphere at Chuck's.
"We're trying to cover all of Ontario and make it a place that everyone wants to go and not have to empty their wallets just going out to eat," said Deneire.
