Parks and Rec Director Rob Harwood said it's great to see the community helping out.
"We appreciate all of the interest that local citizens have in helping us to beautify our places and spaces," said Harwood. "Last weekend we had our parks cleanup day and it was absolutely fantastic. Over 700 people joined in to help out."
They'll be removing garlic mustard and spreading woodchips at Canatara Park's Tarzanland entrance on May 9, 16, and 23
Each session is being held from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
