Fire officials suspect a blaze that destroyed an abandoned house off London Line in Sarnia was intentionally set.
Deputy chief Bryan Van Gaver said the cause of the fire in the 1600 block of London Line east of Modeland Road is listed as undetermined.
Sarnia Fire and Rescue found a structure fully engulfed in flames when they responded at around 6:40 p.m. Thursday.
Van Gaver said they have confirmed no one was in the house, and what was left of the gutted building has been torn down.
Fire crews were on scene through the night and Friday morning.
Damage is estimated at $10,000.
