Misek-Evans lands new CAO job

The City of Sarnia's former embattled chief administrative officer is the new CAO for the Town of Tecumseh. Margaret Misek-Evans starts her new job April 8, taking over for the retiring Tony Haddad. "I am excited to begin my new role with the Town of Tecumseh," Misek-Evans said in a news release. "I am happy to support council's strategic direction working in collaboration with an experienced and knowledgeable team who has been recognized for their regional work.”

Tecumseh Mayor Gary McNamara said he and his council colleagues are looking forward to working with Misek-Evans.

"Having recently met to develop the strategic vision for the next fours years of this council, we are eager to have her lead administration on delivering the priorities we have identified." Misek-Evans left the City of Sarnia in December less than two months after the municipal election that saw Mayor Mike Bradley returned to office for another four years. Her five year stint with the city was marred by conflicts with the mayor. Christopher Carter began his new role as Sarnia's CAO Monday.
