A series of seven low-cost rabies vaccination clinics across Lambton County begins Saturday March 30. The first is in Rutherford at the Public Works Garage at 4590 Lambton Line from 9 a.m. until noon. Lambton Public Health said the clinics are open to all cats and dogs, three months of age and older. Animals must be in good health and not vaccinated within the last year. The cost is $25 per animal with only cash being accepted. Only rabies vaccine will be offered, except in Sarnia where microchipping is available for an additional $20 fee. Other clinic times and locations are: Cairo: Public Works Garage, 1345 Cairo Road, April 6, 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Florence: Dawn-Euphemia Community Centre, 6213 Mill Street, April 6, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Alvinston: Public Works Garage, 8073 Lorne Street, April 13, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Sarnia: Sarnia Humane Society, 131 Exmouth Street, April 13, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Oil Springs: Fire Hall, 4589 Oil Springs Line, May 4, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Enniskillen: Township Garage, 4465 Rokeby Line, May 25, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
