The driver of a tanker truck, involved in a crash with a freight train Monday morning, has been charged.

The two collided at Tashmoo Avenue and Kenny Street near Cabot Canada around 8 a.m.

The tanker driver is charged with disobeying a rail crossing.

Sarnia police say the tanker was hauling animal byproduct, and there was no danger of it exploding.
