The Inn of the Good Shepherd is launching a new food drive, geared towards man's best friend.
Executive Director Myles Vanni said they've teamed up with the Sarnia Police Service and Sarnia Fire and Rescue for "Cause for Paws".
"As difficult as it is for parents trying to struggle to feed their kids, for somebody with pets it's the same thing," said Vanni. "And even for a family, that pet makes a big difference for those kids. So, being able to provide them with some pet food so that they can keep that relationship, and keep that love in the household is really important."
Donations of unopened dog and cat food will be accepted at the East Street fire hall and Sarnia Police Headquarters through the month of March.
