Since the beginning of December, Lambton Public Health has heard back from about 1,000 parents about their child's immunization records.
Supervisor Erin Courtney said last week, second notices were mailed out to over 1,500 parents of area elementary and high school students whose immunization records are still not up to date.
She said if records aren't updated, the student won't be allowed at school.
"Suspension day is Monday, March 4, so if we don't hear back from parents by March 1, their child will be suspended on March 4," said Courtney.
Courtney said 346 students were suspended from school in February 2018 due to outdated vaccination information.
The records include immunizations for diphtheria, tetanus, polio, mumps, rubella, measles, meningitis, whooping cough and chicken pox for children born in 2010 or later.
Records can be updated online at www.lambtonhealth.on.ca by phone or in person at the Exmouth Street health unit.
