City police say a man arrested in a drug bust on Roger Street earlier this month, was charged with additional offences when he was allegedly seen trying to get rid of drugs at Sarnia Jail.
Police say on November 16 at 11:25 p.m. vice officers executed a search warrant at a residence and seized a bottle of methadone, about 3.25 grams of powdered fentanyl with a street value of $1,550, and $1,430 in Canadian cash.
A man was arrested while getting out of a vehicle in a parking lot on Roger Street.
Seth Montana Sinopole, 21, is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
Police say at the jail on November 19 the accused allegedly removed a package from his person and tried to discard the contents in a toilet. He faces additional charges after about 4.2 grams of purple fentanyl with a street value of $2,100 was confiscated.
Police say they're also looking for a woman in connection with the drug bust.
A warrant for the arrest of Crystal Louanne Sinopole, 44, has been issued and police are urging anyone with information as to her whereabouts to contact them.
Two other women, aged 24 and 38, face charges of possession of a controlled substance in connection with the bust.
