The community packed cruisers with 7,394 pounds of food at Walmart and the Real Canadian Superstore.
The food will go directly to the Inn of the Good Shepherd to help a number of families who are less fortunate.
Since its inception, six years ago, Cops for Cans has collected nearly 36,000 pounds of food.
