A very windy day is in store.
Environment Canada has a special weather statement in effect that includes Sarnia-Lambton.
The weather agency says strong southwesterly winds could gust up to 80 kilometers an hour this afternoon and evening.
The winds could toss loose objects and tree branches. Power outages are also possible.
The winds are expected to gradually weaken overnight.
The above seasonal temperatures of the past few days will give way to abnormally cold conditions with the mercury dropping off 2 C, 36 F Wednesday afternoon.
There's the chance of flurries and rain showers in the morning and early Wednesday afternoon.
