Lambton College's 13th annual Corks, Caps & Cuisine was the best ever. The tasting event, held at the college event centre October 20, attracted 380 guests and raised a record $31,500. It showcased a variety of craft breweries and wineries with a Roaring Twenties theme. All proceeds support the college's Envision Tomorrow Capital and Equipment Renewal Campaign. The campaign was established to enhance academic programming, student athletic needs, and applied research opportunities. Lambton College has opened two new facilities this year, the Centre of Excellence in Energy and Bio-Industrial Technologies, and a new Athletics and Fitness Complex. The NOVA Chemicals Health and Research Centre is to be complete by April 2019.
