Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Sarnia-Lambton.
The weather agency said on Wednesday conditions are favourable for the development of severe storms that could be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail, and heavy rain.
The storms are forecast to develop Wednesday afternoon and end in the evening.
A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for Sarnia-Lambton by Environment Canada around 9:40 p.m., but it was ended shortly after.
They'll be generated in the hot and humid air mass in advance of a cold front which is expected to cross the region Wednesday night.
