The Sarnia Sting opened the OHL preseason schedule with a 4-1 loss in London.
Ryan McGregor scored the lone goal for Sarnia with assists going to Will Redick and Calvin Martin.
Evan Bouchard, Billy Moskal, Connor McMichael and Richard Whittaker scored for the Knights who outshot Sarnia 32-27.
Blair Coffin and Ethan Langevin shared the netminding chores for Sarnia.
Coffin faced 17 shots and allowed two goals in the first 30 minutes while one got past Langevin on 14 shots.
The fourth goal was an empty-netter.
Joseph Raaymakers played the entire game for London who visit the Sting Saturday night.
