Pickup Stolen From Front St. Parking Garage

Sarnia police are investigating the theft of a pickup truck from a parking garage in the 300-block of Front St.

Police say suspects broke into an apartment building sometime after 4am on Sunday.

Video surveillance shows a man enter the building, head to the garage, and allow a dark coloured Audi A4 to enter.

Police say the Audi left the building around 5am, followed by a Nissan Titan pickup truck which was later reported stolen from that garage.

The Audi was believed to have two occupants while the pickup truck only had the driver. Police also believe the suspects were involved in a break and enter shortly after at a Derby Lane apartment building where several items were taken from the garage.

The Audi is described as being a 2018 A4, black in colour, Ontario license plate CEEM159, with four doors, which was reported as stolen from London, ON. The same vehicle was also involved in a police pursuit in the Chatham-Kent area.

The pickup truck is a 2015 Nissan Titan ProX, four-door, dark blue in colour. The truck’s license plate number is AC79189.

It is also believed that the suspects were involved in criminal activity in surrounding areas.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Jeff Rovers at 519-344-8861, ext. 6169 or Sarnia Lambton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
