Police Seek Witnesses To Fatal Collision

Sarnia police continue to investigate a fatal collision Saturday night involving a pedestrian.

Detective Constable Jim McCabe says it happened around 9:30pm on Murphy Rd.

"A 73-year-old male pedestrian was crossing eastbound on Murphy Rd., just south of Bradford, and he was struck by a northbound motor vehicle being operated by a 46-year-old male," says McCabe. "He was transported to Bluewater Health in Sarnia and died shortly after as a result of his injuries."

No names have been released yet.
