Farm Safety Session Thursday

The Lambton Farm Safety Association is holding its annual "safety day" on July 5 for children aged 6 to 12.

Students will learn all about PTO, tractor, grain, livestock, ATV, hydro, lawnmower, and fire safety as well as the importance of calling before you dig.

Co-Ordinator Carlie Douglas says it's always memorable for the kids.

"We try to keep it very interesting, the kids can see what's going on," says Douglas. "We have tons of props, tons of stuff that kids can look at and see. They might not be able to touch it but can definitely still learn from it."

The session is being held at the Brigden Fairgrounds from 9am until 1:15pm, with check in between 8:30am and 8:55am.

Cost is $5 and includes lunch, snacks, a t-shirt, and goodie bag.

You can visit Lambton Farm Safety Association on Facebook for more information. Walk-ins are welcome.
