A problem with a CO2 tank at the Praxair site on Vidal St. S Sunday morning prompted a CVECO Emergency Code 6 to be issued by Sarnia Police at 6;30am.
Traffic was diverted around the tank farm until the "all clear" was sounded at 7am.
During a Code 6 public roads are temporarily blocked around the site.
Praxair has been in Sarnia since 1961 and the facility on Vidal St. S is a CO2 and Dry Ice Production Plant.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
