A 100-unit single-family housing project is on the drawing board in Errol Village.
Plympton-Wyoming Council approved an official plan amendment that would see over 12 hectares, close to 31 acres of land between the south end of King St. and Lakeshore Rd. redesignated from Restricted Agricultural to Serviced Hamlet Area.
County council must now approve the change.
Errol Village, Camlachie, Blue Point and the Village of Wyoming have been designated as growth areas in Plympton-Wyoming's official plan.
Plympton-Wyoming Council has also approved a zoning change to allow for continued housing expansion at Sawmill Creek Golf Resort and Spa in Camlachie.
