Homeowner Confronts Would Be Thief

A 33-year-old Sarnia man faces several charges following a break and enter to a residence in Plympton-Wyoming.

Lambton OPP say a suspect forcibly gained entry to a home in the 3000-block of Point View Dr. at about 4am on April 5 but was confronted by the homeowner.

Police say the suspect fled the home and was in the owner's pick up truck when officers arrived. They had to physically remove him from the vehicle.

Shawn Fraser Tinning faces charges including break and enter with intent, trespass at night, and resisting arrest.
