A 25-year-old man is in hospital after a serious crash early Friday morning.
Sarnia police, Sarnia Fire and Rescue and Lambton EMS responded to a single-vehicle crash in the area of Confederation and Queen streets around 2am.
Constable John Sottosanti says it appears the vehicle was headed west on Confederation when it left the road, entered a parking lot, struck a tree and then a large hydro pole.
The driver was transferred to London hospital in serious condition.
Confederation St. between Queen St. and Vidal St. was closed to traffic until around 8:30am.
The Sarnia Police Service Traffic Unit continues to investigate the crash and any witnesses are asked to Constable Ryan Leblanc at 519-344-8861 ext. 6183.
