The Canada Border Services Agency has released some of its highlights from 2017, and it includes two cocaine busts at the Ambassador Bridge.

The first one was at the tail end of 2016, on December 27, when 30 bricks of cocaine were found in a trailer at the bridge. The second was last September. Border officials uncovered 30 kgs of cocaine hidden in the load of a commercial trailer.

The number of drunk or drug-impaired drivers totals 100, while 23 people were arrested for breaching court-imposed conditions, and 26 were picked up for other crimes.

In five incidents, border guards reunited children with their legal guardians after they were reported missing or abducted.

Finally, border officials say they removed 1,172 people from the country.
