Inquest Examines London Man's Death

A Coroner's Inquest looking into the death of a London man who died while putting up a tent for a wedding near Watford in 2013 got underway Monday morning in London.

21-year-old Jeremy Bowley was working for Signature Events Rental Shoppe of London when poles touched overhead wires.

Five of six workers were electrocuted and Bowley died while the others suffered burns.

A Labour Ministry investigation found all were seasonal workers under the age of 25.

The investigation also found none had received any safety training, nor had there been any training on site hazards such as overhead power lines.

The company was previously fined $100,000.

The inquest, expected to last five days, could make recommendations aimed at preventing similar deaths.
