City Supervisor of By-Law Enforcement Adam MacDonald says any vehicle parked on a city street between 2am and 5:30am will be ticketed.
"Overnight, on-street parking restrictions enable the city to conduct necessary snow removal work throughout months where snowfall is expected," says MacDonald.
The restrictions will be lifted on April 30, 2018.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
