Top Boss Needed At Research Park

The search is underway for a new executive director of the Western Sarnia-Lambton Research Park.

Sarnia Mayor Mike Bradley, who is the Community Development Corporation chair, says Tom Strifler -- who announced this past August his plans to retire -- will leave the post early next year after four years in the position.

"He's done an incredible job taking us from 60% full to almost 100% and has certainly across the country, across North America made the park much more visible and received international recognition for what the parks been doing," says Bradley. "He's going to be a really difficult person to replace, but the board has said we want to have a national/international search. We want to continue the momentum we have with the park."

Applicants have until November 5 to apply for the position.
