A special weather statement for Sarnia-Lambton is advising of gusty southerly winds.
Environment Canada says strong winds gusting up to 80 km/h are expected early by Tuesday morning.
The national weather agency says winds are forecast to increase Monday night into Tuesday. The strongest gusts are likely along the shores of Lake Huron and Lake Erie.
The strong gusty winds will continue into Tuesday night before easing Wednesday morning.
The weather statement is also in effect for neighbouring Chatham-Kent and London Middlesex.
