Stolen Vehicle Recovered, Three Arrested

Three people are facing charges after a stolen vehicle was recovered from a motel parking lot in the 1600-block of London Line.

It was located by Sarnia police around 9:45am Friday morning, after being stolen from London in late September.

Police set up surveillance at the motel, and the suspects were taken into custody about two hours later.

A 23-year-old London man faces one count of possession of stolen property obtained by crime, while a 25-year-old London man faces one count of possession of stolen property obtained by crime and breach of probation.

A 20-year-old woman, who allegedly tried to give police a fake name, faces one count of possession of stolen property obtained by crime, one count of public mischief, and five counts of breach of probation.

All three were held for a bail hearing.

The vehicle was returned to its rightful owner in London.
