Smile For Rebound

The folks at Sarnia-Lambton Rebound are wearing big smiles this week.

Money raised from this year's Smile Cookie campaign at local Tim Hortons restaurants will benefit the non-profit organization.

Executive Director Carrie McEachran says they offer over a dozen programs dealing with a number of topics including life choices, coping mechanisms, developmental needs and bullying.

"On average monthly its between 50 and 60 youth that we're supporting through our different programs and that's programming within Sarnia and within the county," says McEachran.

The Smile Cookies are available for $1 at area Tim Hortons restaurants until Sunday, September 17.

The nationwide Smile Cookie fundraiser will help over 500 charities.

Tim Hortons is also encouraging Canadians to show their support on social media using the hashtag #SmileCookie.
