Northgate Pharmacy Robbery Suspect Arrested In London

A 36-year-old Sarnia man, wanted in connection with an armed robbery at the Northgate Pharmacy, has been arrested in London.

Police say Joshua William Gray was apprehended at 2:30pm Thursday by members of the ROPE (Repeat Offenders Parole Enforcement) Squad. He was then transported back to Sarnia by city police.

On August 22, a man wielding a large knife, wearing a black sweater depicting a skeleton, robbed the Exmouth St. pharmacy and made off with cash and about 20 boxes of Fentanyl.

The suspect fled in a pickup truck, stolen out of London, which was later located in the 900-block of Colborne Rd.

As a result of a search warrant, 37-year-old Erica Leigh Nelson was arrested August 24 and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance (Fentanyl) for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance (Dilaudid), possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.00 and two counts of breach of probation.

Police are still searching for 41-year-old Norman Leroy Jackson. He's wanted for accessory after the fact to commit an indictable offence, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and breaching probation and recognizance.

Jackson is considered possibly armed and dangerous. Police say if you see him, don't approach him but call 911 immediately.

Anyone with further information is asked to call Sarnia police or Crime Stoppers.
