The Inn of the Good Shepherd and local McDonalds restaurants want to ensure that every child in Sarnia Lambton has something in their lunch bag when they head back to school.
The "Loonies for Lunches" Food Drive begins Monday, August 28 and runs until September 10.
Inn Executive Director Myles Vanni says past partnerships with McDonalds have raised up to $6,000.
"Loonies for Lunches is a vital fundraiser to keep the shelves full at the food bank at the Inn. The numbers tell the story, with over 800 children provided with food each month," he says.
You can also drop off food donations in bins at the Christina St., Exmouth St. and London Rd. McDonalds locations.
