Sarnia Speaks Diversity

Diversity is the topic of Wednesday night's Sarnia Speaks dialogue.

Founder and Organizer Danielle Cooper says three panelists will share stories about culture shock, stereotypes and misinformation and how that can sometimes lead to ignorance and discrimination.

She says this is the fifth talk they've had this year and plans to continue the series into next year.

"This is definitely something that's a direct result of the support the community has given, and its going to go on for as long as we can do it and as long as Sarnia wants to talk, we're going to provide that platform," says Cooper.

The discussion gets underway at 6:30pm at theStory at 179 Christina St. N.

More information is also available at www.sarniaspeaks.org Cooper says the event was moved due to the fire and subsequent closure of the Sarnia Public Library.
