Environment Canada has rescinded a special air quality statement for Sarnia-Lambton.
The weather agency said Thursday's hot and sunny conditions were expected to create higher than normal concentrations of ground-level ozone.
Moderate risk Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) values were expected throughout the day with the potential of local high risk values in Sarnia that may last several hours.
The alert ended around 6:30pm.
