Meth, Cocaine Seized, Suspect Found In Trunk

Lambton OPP seized a quantity of drugs and found a suspect in the trunk of a vehicle during a traffic stop Friday night.

Constable Travis Parsons says around 8:30pm, officers stopped a suspicious vehicle on Grand Bend Rd. in Lambton Shores.

"Through the course of the investigation, we arrested a female driver," says Parsons. "A subsequent search of the vehicle located a male party that was hiding in the trunk."

Constable Parsons says officers seized 22 g of suspected methamphetamine, 7 g of suspected cocaine, with a street value of just under $3,000, as well as a quantity of cash.

Carly Cassandra Johns, 22, and Kyle Robert John Lenssen, 29, both of Grand Bend, face several charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a weapon.
