Blue Water Bridge May 2017 (BlackburnNews.com photo by Dave Dentinger)A 26-year-old female truck driver from Fort Worth, Texas was charged with impaired driving Wednesday night after a vehicle inspection at the Blue Water Bridge.
At about 9:30pm, OPP were called by the Canadian Border Services Agency over concerns about the condition of a trucker who had unintentionally entered Canada en route to Buffalo, New York.
Police say the driver provided a breath sample that registered nearly three times the legal limit and is to appear in Sarnia court July 10.
The completed study is slated to be presented to council in late September.
