Good Weather Boosts Numbers At Salmon Derby

There are four new names on the Lake Trout leader board on Day six of the Bluewater Anglers Salmon Derby including a new first place fish.

Homer Vandenweehl of Ingersoll is the new leader in the Lake Trout category with a 20.46 lb. Lake Trout.

- Robert Perkins of London in the Salmon category with a 15.38 lb. Salmon. - Scott Dezort of Sarnia in the Trout - Boat category with a 7.20 lb. Rainbow Trout. - Tyler Pavli of Sarnia in the Trout - Shore category with a 14.56 lb. Brown Trout. - Homer Vandenweehl of Ingersoll in the Lake Trout category with a 20.46 lb. Lake Trout. - Clayton Rennie of Sarnia in the Walleye category with a 8.94 lb. Walleye.

Wednesday, May 3rd was Seniors Day. The Seniors Day winner is Andy Ross of Sarnia with a 14.38 lb. Lake Trout.

The Daily Big Fish winner is Homer Vandenweehl of Ingersoll with his 20.46 lb. Lake Trout.

The Daily Draw Prize winners are...

- Adam Henry of Kettle Point at the Port Franks weigh station, and - Joel LaFlamboise of Sarnia at the Sarnia weigh station.

There were 64 fish entered in Sarnia and 87 fish entered in Port Franks for a six day Salmon Derby total of 443 fish.
